Overview

VoteDekho ("we", "our", "the site") is committed to handling your data responsibly. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can control it.

What we collect

Server logs

Every HTTP request to VoteDekho generates a standard server log entry: IP address (truncated to /24 for privacy), user agent, URL requested, HTTP status, and response time. These logs are retained for 30 days and used solely for abuse prevention and performance analysis.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not track users across sites, and does not build personal profiles. Aggregated page view data (no PII) is retained indefinitely.

Advertising

Once enabled, Google AdSense may serve interest-based ads and set cookies on your device. You can opt out via Google's Ad Settings. We do not share your personal data with advertisers.

What we don't do

  • Sell or rent personal data to any third party
  • Use Facebook Pixel, Google Tag Manager, or similar tag containers
  • Require account creation or email registration
  • Store payment information (we have none)
  • Send marketing emails

Cookies

VoteDekho itself sets no cookies. Google AdSense (when active) may set advertising cookies. You can block these with any standard cookie manager or browser extension.

Your rights

Under GDPR and applicable Indian data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email privacy@votedekho.com.
